Notes:
1 – Tsunoda received a three-place grid penalty for impeding
Hamilton in Q2.
2 – Magnussen qualified 18th, but he was required to start the
race from the back of the grid for exceeding his quota of
power unit elements. He also received a ten-place grid
penalty for a new gearbox case and a new gearbox driveline.
He was then required to start the race from the pit lane
as the new elements were changed without the approval of
the technical delegate during parc fermé.
3 – Pérez finished third, but he received a five-second time
penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
4 – Tsunoda finished 13th, but he received a five-second time
penalty for causing a collision with Russell.
5 – Magnussen finished 15th on track, but he received a post-race
five-second time penalty for falling to keep more than ten
car lengths behind the safety car.
