Fiat withdrew as a result of crashes from Salamano and Bordino. In addition Mercedes told the organizers their new 8-cylinder car was not ready, who left the race with just Alfa-Romeo, Rolland-Pilain and Chiribiri. Therefore the organizers set a new date. Sadly there was no come-back for Fiat. They withdrew their entry and were never seen on the Grand Prix scen again. 3) Combined road and banked track. 4) Zborowski was killed in the Lesmo curve. Neubauer was running 5th when he withdrew and Werner who inherited 5th place withdrew 2 laps later.
